Coastal Beats are a collective of highly talented creative professionals who all have extensive experience in high profile events.  Whether DJ, live musician, band, videographer or photographer we only work with the absolute best who have proven their dedication to excellence throughout decades of hard work.

We’ve helped couples start their lives together all across Australia but we particularly love being involved in weddings in the beautiful Northern Rivers.

We definitely pride ourselves on being the most professional and experienced DJs, musicians, bands, videographers & photographers in the Byron Bay area and have worked extensively all throughout the region at events in & around Byron Bay, Bangalow, Lismore, Lennox Head, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads & Ballina.

The Coastal Beats team have all worked at high levels in a wide variety of creative events (huge music festivals, international band tours, global marketing campaigns, film & television) but what really brings us together is our love of romance.  There is something really so wonderful about being there on the day when two people in love make it known to the world and dedicate themselves to each other. Witnessing a group of the closest of friends & family so full of joy is amazing to be a part of every single time and it always feels like an honour to help make these moments perfect! 

Celebration

 We take the utmost care earlier in the day to make your ceremony perfect and joyous in every way! But then of course there’s the party!!  Let’s be honest, a big part of why we're there is to get everyone dancing like crazy and unconditionally letting their hair down in a raucous celebration!  That’s our job, and we love it!  Our DJs, musicians & bands know what makes a dance floor pump! Theres a certain feel you get for what a crowded dance floor really needs to take things to the next level, and we have this mastered!  

Videography & Photography

You want a gorgeously cinematic record of your wedding and our highly experienced creative video & photo crew are the perfect choice.  Our videographers & photographers have shot some of the biggest names in the music business and have worked in loads of high energy festivals, events and of course weddings.  They’ll bring the professionalism and creativity required to perfectly document this beautiful day that you’ll remember for ever.  An important part of the service that we offer is seamless collaboration between our entertainers and our visual content team. We’re all good friends who have worked together extensively and this connection means that we’ll never miss a beat mess up an important moment.  Theres nothing worse than finding out the speeches weren’t recorded properly because the videographer was unfamiliar with the entertainer’s audio equipment!  This definitely won’t be a problem when you have the full Coastal Beats team planning & working on your wedding together. 

Communication Is Key

We take pride in communicating with couples to get a crystal clear idea of your individual and combined musical tastes. This way we’re able to curate the days entertainment to reflect the bride and groom’s unique style and convey that to friends & family while they celebrate. No two couples or weddings are the same and our aim is to provide each and every couple with a personalised and unique experience.

We’ll work with you to plan and prepare as much as possible to ensure we provide a first class experience for you and your guests. As soon as we start planning your wedding together, you’ll receive login details to our online client portal where you can organise details of the day, manage song requests and playlists and easily make payments at your leisure.  You’ll also have the option of making song lists in Spotify and connecting these straight to your Coastal Beats account.  And of course we’re absolutely open to song requests on the night as well!  You can have as much input as you wish or just give us a feel for what you love and we’ll do the rest, it’s up to you.  All of this makes planning super easy and stress free leaving you to enjoy the event as we look after all of the details.

Our live bands and acoustic acts are able to perform in almost any genre and our DJs love to hunt down obscure tracks to make the night perfect!  All of our DJs are skilled in open format mixing, meaning they have the skills and ability to mix between different styles and genres on the go, depending on what is needed at any given moment!
