Chris Rose

Singer-songwriter Chris Rose is a Port Macquarie local, and has always been surrounded and creatively inspired by the natural beauty of the region.

Chris became obsessed with perfecting his craft as a musician during his teenage years, but once he got a taste of live performance he couldn’t get enough of the stage.  He wrote his first solo song ‘Nowhere Land’ sitting on the gusty Lighthouse Beach headland, surrounded by crashing waves and has gone on to be a prolific song writer, signing his very first major label record deal in 2012.

From large-scale events such as the Australia Day Spectacular at Circular Quay to regional support tours and festivals, Chris has shared the stage with some of Aussie music’s most iconic artists including Icehouse, Thirsty Merc, Sheppard, The McClymonts, The Black Sorrows, and Daryl Braithwaite.

He spends much of his time touring and performing original music but still loves to have fun playing a huge repertoire of cover songs from well known popular artists at weddings and events in the Mid North Coast region that he has always called home.
